Key Benefits

  • Promotes higher crop yield and better productivity
  • Supports strong root and stem development
  • Produces uniform and healthy grains
  • Enhances resistance against common field stress
  • Suitable for a wide range of climatic conditions

Usage Guidelines

  • Use the recommended seed rate of 8–10 kg per acre for nursery sowing to achieve optimum plant population.
  • Prepare a well-leveled and fertile nursery bed with good drainage. Sow seeds uniformly and maintain proper moisture for healthy seedling growth.
  • Transplant seedlings at 20–25 days old with ideal spacing of 15 cm × 15 cm or 20 cm × 15 cm for better tillering and aeration.
  • Maintain 2–5 cm standing water in the main field during the vegetative stage. Avoid water stress during panicle initiation, flowering, and grain filling stages.
  • Apply balanced fertilizers based on soil test results. Generally, use Nitrogen, Phosphorus, and Potassium in split doses, with higher Nitrogen at tillering and panicle initiation stages.
  • Monitor the crop regularly for pests (especially stem borer) and diseases. Take timely plant protection measures as per local recommendations.
  • Ensure proper weed management during the early crop growth stages to reduce competition for nutrients and sunlight.
  • Harvest the crop at physiological maturity when 80–85% of the grains turn golden yellow and the panicles bend down.
  • Dry the harvested grains properly to bring moisture content below 14% before storage or milling.
  • Store seeds in a cool, dry, and moisture-free environment away from direct sunlight to maintain high germination rate.
